Sampo Ylätalo

Since 1999, Sampo has been working in the patent field in several Finnish patent agencies. Former scientific career of Sampo, before turning the course to an inventor and consequently a patent attorney, Sampo worked as a scientist in Environmental Physics Laboratory in Helsinki University, Observatory, and Acceleration laboratory. Sampo worked also in VTT Oy, the Technology Research Center, in the chemical engineering, and in STUK, Radiation Safety Authority.

In addition, Sampo has built laboratories, made preparations, arrangements and implemented field measurements to the aforementioned institutes and their customers. Sampo also participated to a scientist exchange program in Switzerland as a part of a project with a cited institute.

Sampo Ylätalo is experienced in technical physics and the applications, including ICT and communication. Professional fields of interests of Sampo comprise aerosol physics, conversion processes, material sciences, electronics, optics, mechanics, semi-conductors and MEMS as well as the multidisciplinary cross-scientific applications and the interfaces. Sampo has been working also as a trainer in patenting.
